Summer Solstice Del Mar 2026 — The Annual Food and Drink Festival at Powerhouse Park

The Del Mar Summer Solstice returns to Powerhouse Park on Thursday, June 18, 2026, for an immersive culinary evening featuring Del Mar Village's top chefs alongside a curated selection of wine, beer, and craft cocktails. The annual celebration, organized by the Del Mar Village Association, runs from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with limited VIP early entry at 4:00 PM. This event sells out every year — early ticket purchases are recommended.

What Your Ticket Includes

Attendees receive elevated bites from award-winning Del Mar Village restaurants, drinks from local and nationally recognized brands, a beachside musical performance from Ben Benavente, sunset cheers with Monarch Ocean Pub, and a commemorative tasting glass. The event is 21-plus only, and net proceeds benefit DMVA's mission of supporting Del Mar's small businesses and sustainability efforts along the downtown corridor and beaches.

Summer Solstice is the only event of its kind in San Diego — a food-and-drink festival staged directly on the oceanfront lawn at Powerhouse Park with the Pacific as the backdrop. It sits at the intersection of everything that makes Del Mar's dining scene special: chef talent, craft cocktail culture, community pride, and an unbeatable coastal setting. Restaurants that regularly participate include many of the same names that anchor Camino Del Mar — spots like Sbicca, Pacifica Del Mar, and Jake's Del Mar.

Making a Night of It in Del Mar

Partner hotels offer event discounts: L'Auberge Del Mar takes 15 percent off accommodations with the promo code SOLSTICE, the Del Mar Beach Hotel offers 10 percent off with code DELMAR, and the Best Western Premier Hotel Del Mar provides 10 percent off as well. The combination of a beachfront culinary festival, discounted lodging, and a sunset over the Pacific makes Summer Solstice one of the most compelling single-evening experiences along the San Diego coast. Visitors from Coronado, La Jolla, and beyond will find the trip north well worth the drive.
