San Diego Lineup is a neighborhood-first civic business directory covering communities across San Diego County. We organize local business information by neighborhood and category, publish editorial content including guides and roster articles, and provide business owners with tools to update and enhance their listings.

Acceptable Use

When you use San Diego Lineup, you agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information, including falsely claiming to represent a business you do not own or work for
• Impersonate any person, business, or entity
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Site without our express written permission
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the Site in ways that disrupt normal operation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or user accounts
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code
• Interfere with other users' ability to use the Site
• Use the Site to harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person or business
• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these rules.

Business Listings and Ownership Claims

Business owners may submit listings and update information about businesses they own or are authorized to represent. By submitting a listing or claiming a business on San Diego Lineup, you represent that:

• You are the owner of the business, or you are authorized by the owner to manage the business's online presence
• The information you submit is accurate, current, and not misleading
• You have the right to submit any photos, logos, or other materials you upload, and you grant San Diego Lineup a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display them on the Site in connection with your listing
• You will update your listing to keep it accurate, or notify us if the business closes

We reserve the right to review, reject, edit, or remove any submission that violates these Terms, appears fraudulent, or conflicts with the Site's editorial standards.

Fees and Paid Services

Basic business listings on San Diego Lineup are free. We also offer paid Community Supporter placements, which provide enhanced visibility and additional features. Paid services are subject to additional terms presented at the time of purchase, including pricing, billing, cancellation, and refund policies.

Participation in any paid program is voluntary. A paid Community Supporter placement does not constitute an endorsement of the business by San Diego Lineup.

Intellectual Property

All content published by San Diego Lineup — including editorial articles, guides, category descriptions, neighborhood overviews, photography we produce, the Site's design and layout, and the San Diego Lineup name and logo — is the intellectual property of San Diego Lineup or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.

You may view and share links to San Diego Lineup content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, republish, redistribute, or create derivative works from our editorial content without express written permission.

Business names, logos, photographs, and trademarks displayed in listings remain the property of their respective owners and are displayed on San Diego Lineup for identification and informational purposes only.

Editorial Content and Opinions

San Diego Lineup publishes guides, roster articles, and other editorial content reflecting our own perspective and research. Editorial content represents our opinions and characterizations at the time of publication and should not be treated as verified fact, professional advice, or a guarantee of quality.

We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of business listings or editorial content.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, San Diego Lineup, its operators, affiliates, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site, including but not limited to lost profits, lost data, business interruption, missed appointments, or reliance on information found in listings or editorial content.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Site shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, whichever is greater.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory and even if San Diego Lineup has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless San Diego Lineup, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from (a) your use of the Site, (b) content you submit or information you provide, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will continue to apply.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make substantive changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date below and, where appropriate, provide additional notice on the Site. Your continued use of San Diego Lineup after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
