About

Nolita Hall in downtown San Diego's Little Italy launched in 2018 as the flagship of Black Swan Hospitality, taking its name from New York City's NoLIta neighborhood as a nod to its position at 2305 India Street on the north end of the district. A Fiori woodfire oven anchors the Italian-inspired menu with Neapolitan-style pizzas, house meatballs in brodo, and wood-fired Brussels sprouts, a kitchen program that runs parallel to the thin-crust legacy at Landini's Pizzeria further south on India Street. The $3 million build-out earned an Orchid Award for interior design from Tecture Design and Fabrication, featuring a 60-foot skylight, floor-to-ceiling windows, a U-shaped bar with 24 craft beer taps, and two regulation shuffleboard lanes. Weekend brunch service adds a daytime programming layer, while the amaro-forward cocktail program draws from Italian aperitivo traditions. Twenty-four rotating taps pour San Diego and West Coast craft beers, a draft-forward approach that complements the tasting-room format at Ballast Point Brewing elsewhere downtown. Full-venue buyouts convert the 6,000-square-foot hall — skylight, projection screens, fireplace lounge — into private events for up to 50 seated guests with coursed Italian menus and dedicated bar service.
