Tucked behind an unassuming door at 910 Grand Ave, Ste 105-107, in the 92109, Captain's Quarters is a cocktail bar that transports guests into the private cabin of a 17th-century sea captain. Owner Matt Spencer, who runs the San Diego Cocktail Management (SDCM) portfolio, conceived the concept after years of eyeing the intimate space next to his tiki bar The Grass Skirt, which he opened on Grand Ave in 2016.
