Adventure Ski & Snowboard School in Encinitas trains skiers and snowboarders year-round on an indoor revolving-carpet simulator at 1105 South Coast Highway 101. The 18-by-57-foot continuous-loop belt replicates slope conditions inside the same Coast Highway 101 complex that houses Hansen Surfboards, one of Encinitas's landmark board-sport retailers since 1961. Private one-on-one instruction covers stance mechanics, edge control, and linked-turn technique for all levels, from first-timers preparing for Big Bear or Mammoth trips to advanced riders refining carving form. The school also runs recurring adaptive sessions for disabled veterans, modifying equipment setups and technique coaching for sit-ski and mono-ski training across the same active-recreation community served by RIDE Cyclery Encinitas. The belt's variable-speed motor scales from walking pace to intermediate slope pitch, allowing instructors to progressively load edge-hold resistance across three-lesson and five-lesson progression tracks.
