Established in 2015 on South Coast Highway 101, 1st Street Bar programs live entertainment seven nights a week from its full-service bar in Encinitas's Old Encinitas corridor near the Self-Realization Fellowship. The weekly calendar rotates through karaoke Sundays, comedy and music mic nights, live bands Wednesday through Saturday, and DJ sets on weekends, building a nightly performance schedule on the same 101 craft-beer corridor where Modern Times Far West Lounge pours its own production-brewery lineup. A retro-format game room includes a regulation pool table, electronic shuffleboard, Buck Hunter arcade cabinet, and a jukebox, layering bar-game programming under the live-music calendar. Late-night dessert runs on the same 101 block connect the bar's closing crowd to the edible cookie dough and fresh-baked desserts at Broad Street Dough Co nearby. The sound system supports a multi-format booking calendar spanning blues, reggae, indie rock, hip-hop showcases, and tribute acts across a stage footprint configured for full-band amplification in a sub-200-capacity room.
