The City of Santee operates the facility as an unsupervised skate-at-your-own-risk venue with no admission charge. Riders source replacement decks, trucks, and bearings from Al's Sport Shop on Mission Gorge Road, which stocks skateboard hardware alongside its broader sporting goods inventory. The bowl section transitions from a shallow roll-in to vertical walls engineered for airs and grinds, while the street course's flat-bar and hubba-ledge obstacles replicate urban terrain for technical flip tricks.
