Gift shop and sea cave attraction at 1325 Coast Blvd, La Jolla, CA 92037, above La Jolla Cove. The Cave Store houses the only land entrance to Sunny Jim's Sea Cave — one of La Jolla's seven natural sea caves and the only sea cave in California accessible by foot. Descend 145 hand-carved steps through a tunnel built in 1902 by German mining engineer Gustav Schultz to a viewing platform inside the cave. Named by Wizard of Oz author L. Frank Baum. The shop sells jewelry, souvenirs, and snorkel gear. Steps from Scripps Park and the Museum of Contemporary Art. Adults $10, children $6. Open daily 9am–4:30pm.
