UC San Diego Medical Center clinical staff physician Daniel Davis, MD, practices inside the 200 W Arbor Drive hospital tower in the heart of the Hillcrest medical district. Davis works as part of the academic staff that shares intake, scheduling, and referral workflow with the UC San Diego Medical Center-Internal Medicine Group Practice on the same Arbor Drive campus. Adult primary and internal medicine care covers chronic disease, preventive screening, and post-hospital follow-up for patients discharged from the attached inpatient wards. Davis's imaging orders -- CT, MR, ultrasound -- flow directly to Imaging Healthcare Specialists - Hillcrest or the on-campus radiology department without requiring patients to leave the block. Complex patients with overlapping cardiac, renal, and endocrine disease are co-managed through multidisciplinary UCSD specialty clinics inside the same Arbor Drive complex.
