Encinitas Rotary Wine and Food Festival stages its annual sold-out tasting event at Encinitas Ranch Golf Course on Quail Gardens Drive, drawing over 1,100 attendees to sample wine, craft beer, and cuisine from North County's restaurant and winery scene. Presented by the Rotary Club of Encinitas since its inaugural 400-person gathering in 2005, the festival has distributed over $1.4 million in cumulative proceeds to children's and community nonprofits, hosted on the same fairways where Encinitas Ranch Golf Course runs its year-round public tee times. The program features tastings from roughly 25 wineries, breweries, and spirit vendors alongside plate samplings from more than 24 restaurants and caterers. A live-music stage, a categorized silent auction exceeding $5,000 in donated items, and a carpool-incentive raffle round out the evening's programming. Participating wine vendors rotate vintage selections that range from Paso Robles Cabernets to Temecula Valley Rhone blends, complementing the permanent bottle inventory curated by Caves Wine Bar & Shop on the 101. General-admission and VIP ticket tiers include all-inclusive tasting access, and the event carpools initiative rewards groups of four or more arriving in a single vehicle with a dedicated raffle entry.
