Fabulous Finds on Encinitas Boulevard is the volunteer-run thrift shop of the Assistance League of Rancho San Dieguito, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit chapter of the National Assistance League that has served over 59,000 residents across Encinitas, Cardiff, Solana Beach, Del Mar, and Carmel Valley since 1998. All revenue funds programs including Operation School Bell, which has clothed more than 19,000 children from financially strained military and civilian families, and the Assault Survivor Kits program, which has donated over 5,000 kits to sexual assault survivors — the same community safety-net infrastructure supported by donation drives at CRC Encinitas Resale Store down the boulevard. The shop carries vintage clothing, antiques, collectibles, housewares, books, jewelry, and designer pieces, many donated from affluent Rancho Santa Fe and coastal North County households. Established in 2002, the store earned back-to-back Best Thrift/Consignment Shop and Best Antiques/Collectibles designations in the Coast News "Best of North County" reader poll. Rotating weekly sales and a curated vintage and collectibles section place inventory in the same resale-to-antique pipeline that feeds shops like Antique Mall in the Encinitas thrift stores corridor. Highest-value consignment cycles include mid-century modern furniture sets, sterling silver flatware collections, and authenticated designer handbags processed through the GuideStar Exchange Platinum-rated organization's intake and pricing protocols.
