The congregation's outreach ministries coordinate food and home-maintenance assistance for elderly and low-income residents alongside organizations like the Community Resource Center on the same street. A 1999 rebuild on the original 1945 parcel replaced the one-room sanctuary with a larger worship hall and dedicated classrooms, preserving the church's presence two blocks from the Self Realization Fellowship gardens. Weekly Bible-study sessions and midweek fellowship groups draw from the same faith community that fills San Dieguito United Methodist Church and other Encinitas congregations along the 101. The 1999 sanctuary expansion added ADA-compliant entrance ramps, wheelchair-accessible restrooms, and a dedicated children's education wing with three age-segmented classrooms on the original Second Street parcel.
