WorldBeat Cultural Center in downtown San Diego occupies a repurposed one-million-gallon water tower near Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, presenting multicultural arts programming on Park Boulevard since 1984. Resident instructors run ongoing classes in African drumming, Taiko, Egyptian dance, and Brazilian Samba capoeira inside the center, while San Diego Civic Dance Association stages complementary performance programming across the park grounds.
