The Escape Game San Diego in downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter runs five themed escape rooms at 232 Fifth Avenue, part of a Nashville-founded chain that has grown to more than 50 U.S. locations since its 2014 launch. Each 60-minute, multi-room adventure—Gold Rush, Prison Break, Special Ops: Mysterious Market, Timeliner: Train Through Time, and The Depths—holds up to eight players with unlimited hints from a dedicated game guide, adding interactive puzzle entertainment to the same Fifth Avenue block where Arcade Monsters San Diego runs its retro-gaming floor. Every set is constructed at the company's 62,000-square-foot Adventure Factory in Nashville by an in-house team of architects, carpenters, scenic artists, and tech specialists, with each new location representing roughly $2 million in buildout. The Gaslamp outpost sits across from the quarter's iconic arch near Petco Park, positioning it for corporate team-building bookings and convention-season foot traffic from San Diego Convention Center's trade-show and Comic-Con audiences. The most complex group bookings run simultaneous multi-room sessions for corporate teams of 40-plus, coordinating parallel game starts, customized difficulty calibrations, and post-game debriefs across all five themed rooms.
