Veteran-owned FeeLIT on E Street in downtown San Diego's East Village has operated as an independent record store and community music hub since its January 2008 opening. The shop stocks thousands of new and used vinyl records spanning rock, punk, jazz, hip hop, soul, funk, house, techno, drum-and-bass, and world-music genres, a cross-format inventory that feeds the same live-performance ecosystem as Quartyard in the East Village. Beyond vinyl, the floor carries compact discs, cassette tapes, DVDs, books, and locally designed t-shirts, with buy-sell-trade counters processing used collections across all physical media formats. The DJ-equipment section stocks portable turntable faders from Jesse Dean Designs, Raiden Fader, and Mixfader alongside 7-inch, 10-inch, and 12-inch battle-scratch records and custom slipmats. FeeLIT also functions as an independent record label and exhibition space, hosting in-store performances, artist receptions, and gallery shows that cross-pollinate with the visual-arts programming at Tenth Avenue Arts Center nearby. The store carries vinyl-cleaning kits with anti-static carbon-fiber brushes, stylus-cleaning solutions, and archival-grade polyethylene inner sleeves alongside outer-sleeve protectors in standard 12-inch and 7-inch gatefold dimensions.
