About

F6ix in downtown San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter is a 6,000-square-foot subterranean hip-hop nightclub that ENG Universal (Elevating Nightlife Group) opened in 2011 beneath the corner of F Street and Sixth Avenue. Guests descend a street-level staircase into an interior designed by OCIO Design Group, where metallic and mirrored surfaces interact with a programmable LED lighting system engineered by SJ Lighting Inc. — a theatrical production layer that separates F6ix's visual environment from the static décor at other underground Gaslamp venues like Onyx Room. The prominently positioned DJ booth with stage anchors the room, hosting rotating and resident DJs who spin hip-hop spanning 1990s classics through current releases. VIP bottle service occupies dedicated sections surrounding the dance floor, and the full venue is available for private buyouts through ENG Universal's event-planning division, the same caliber of production infrastructure that powers large-format nightlife bookings at Parq Nightclub on the same Gaslamp circuit. The highest-capacity format is a full-venue private event with custom lighting programming, staged DJ sets, and bottle-service packages scaled to the 6,000-square-foot floor.
