About

Harbor Breakfast in downtown San Diego's Little Italy has served scratch-made morning plates from the corner of Beech and India Street since spring 2014, occupying an 1887 wood-frame building that is the oldest continually operating wood structure in San Diego. The menu bridges American and Mexican breakfast traditions with challah French toast, house-cured corned beef hash, huevos rancheros, and Dungeness crab eggs Benedict, a cross-cultural morning lineup on the same India Street corridor as Bencotto's handmade Italian pastas. Locally sourced produce anchors a from-scratch kitchen that prepares its own biscuits, sauces, and fresh-squeezed juices. The 1887 structure once housed Harbor Marine Supply before its conversion to a 71-seat restaurant with both indoor and sidewalk patio seating along India Street. Duroc smoked bacon and chicken-apple sausage links round out a protein program as steeped in neighborhood history as the century-old waterfront character at Waterfront Bar & Grill a few blocks south. Full catering packages build private brunch menus around the crab Benedict, challah toast platters, and fresh juice service for off-site events.
