Spreckels Park has served as the civic heart of Coronado since 1904. This eight-acre green space sits at the center of the village, bounded by Orange Avenue and Sixth Street, and functions as the island's town square. A central bandstand gazebo hosts the long-running Coronado Promenade Concerts series each summer, drawing families with blankets and lawn chairs on Sunday afternoons. The park features open lawns, mature trees, picnic tables, and a playground.
