About

Coronado Mercantile is a boutique gift and souvenir shop located at the Coronado Ferry Landing, offering a carefully curated selection of apparel, accessories, and locally sourced gifts for both tourists and island locals. Opened in March 2023 as a sister store to the longtime Ferry Landing favorite La Camisa, Coronado Mercantile brings a fresh boutique approach to Coronado shopping with an emphasis on quality brands and local artisans. The shop carries popular names like Life Is Good, '47 Brand, Thread, and Dr. Squatch alongside standout finds like Sin-Min cinnamon-scented products from Ventura, California. Sports fans will find San Diego Padres hats and gear, while jewelry lovers can browse Pura Vida bracelets and handcrafted pieces. Locally made beaded keychains and accessories from Coronado-area artists round out a selection that is intentionally thoughtful — they shop small so you can shop small. Managed by Coronado High School graduate Rachel Hengst, the store reflects a deep connection to the Coronado community. Coronado Mercantile is open seven days a week at 1201 1st Street, Suite 107, making it an easy stop whether you are arriving by ferry or exploring the waterfront shops and restaurants at the Ferry Landing.
