About

As a member of the Acts 29 church-planting network, The Fields Church in Carlsbad's Aviara corridor has occupied its own campus on Camino Vida Roble since 2016. The children's ministry enrolls ages twelve months through fifth grade in age-segmented Bible curriculum with a dedicated check-in system, a scope that complements the early-childhood programs at Carlsbad Country Day School serving the same south-Carlsbad families. Founded in 2003 at a beach gathering near Carlsbad's lifeguard Tower 30, the congregation migrated through a converted rose greenhouse and two Aviara Oaks school campuses before securing its permanent site south of Palomar Airport Road. Midweek EquipU classes cover systematic theology, Christian ethics, and cultural engagement, while community-outreach projects extend into environmental stewardship along the Batiquitos Lagoon corridor in coordination with organizations like the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation. The annual Easter Sunrise Service — a tradition dating to 2004 at The Flower Fields of Carlsbad Ranch — draws multi-generational attendance across three back-to-back gatherings with full catered breakfast and children's programming at two of the three services.
