Cameron Family YMCA in Santee has served the East County community from 10123 Riverwalk Drive since 2003, operating in partnership with the City of Santee at Town Center Community Park. The 2019 renovation, a $3.6 million expansion, added EGYM smart-circuit equipment and doubled the group-exercise studio count to four, building a conditioning infrastructure that members supplement with the integrative-health programming at The Wellness Co on Mission Gorge Road. A gymnastics center, child-watch facility, and expanded Kids Club serve the youth-development side of the YMCA of San Diego County mission at this Santee branch. The aquatics center runs a 25-meter-by-25-yard competition pool and an activity pool with water-play structure, and Tiger Shark Swim Team athletes pair pool sessions with soft-tissue recovery at 4U Massage on Carlton Hills Boulevard between meets. The competition pool supports year-round lap swimming, water aerobics, group swim lessons, and structured team training across a multi-lane layout maintained to YMCA aquatic-safety standards.
