Federal Fire Station 110

Public Safety (Police & Fire)

About

CFAI-accredited Federal Fire Station 110 in Point Loma, San Diego provides all-hazard fire, rescue, and emergency medical response across Naval Base Point Loma's topside campus from 110 McClelland Road. Engine 110 and Special Operations 110 protect facilities that include the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC), submarine piers, and sensitive research laboratories requiring hazmat and technical-rescue capability beyond standard structural firefighting. The station's crews are represented by IAFF Local F-33 and operate under mutual-aid agreements with San Diego Fire-Rescue, Coronado Fire, and Imperial Beach Fire departments. Maritime emergency coordination extends to the harbor through joint protocols with San Diego Harbor Police Dock, covering vessel fires, pier-side incidents, and waterfront hazmat releases along the base's bayfront perimeter. Special Operations 110 maintains rapid-intervention and confined-space rescue readiness for the submarine maintenance facilities and underground infrastructure unique to the Point Loma installation.
