Berklee College of Music-trained vocalist Kristina Bennett operates her Point Loma music instruction studio from 3360 Sports Arena Boulevard in the Pechanga Arena corridor of the Midway District. The studio has run private lessons since 2007 in voice, beginner guitar, ukulele, piano, songwriting, music theory, and performance technique, with an all-ages enrollment range (from age 4 through the 70s) that complements the youth-instrument programs at TR Music & Voice Lessons. Bennett's own recording history grounds the instruction: her 2008 solo debut Mermaid Tattoos preceded her March 2022 album Mother Tree, which hit #1 on the iTunes New Age chart, and she fronts the band Full Moon Tiger. Beyond music lessons, Bennett offers sound-therapy sessions and pranayama breath-work coaching, a modality combination drawn from her Berklee Music Therapy coursework and later certification in meditation and breath practice. Advanced vocal students appear at performance venues including Rock And Roll San Diego, where Bennett is affiliated and can structure showcase-ready material into the lesson arc. The genre range covers pop, country, jazz, blues, classic and indie rock, punk, musical theater, R&B, electronica, and opera, a deliberate anti-specialization pedagogy that lets a single student work across multiple styles inside one semester rather than being boxed into a track.
