About

WSCUC-accredited since 2015, High Tech High Graduate School of Education delivers Point Loma M.Ed. programs from 2150 Cushing Road inside Liberty Station. Teacher Leadership and School Leadership degree tracks run a practice-oriented curriculum embedded inside the K-12 HTH charter network, and a portion of graduates cross over into San Diego Unified postings — Dana Middle School is one of the public middle schools hiring M.Ed. completers from the program. The school is California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education licensed and Title IV-eligible, so degree-seeking students access William D. Ford Federal Direct Loans, Graduate PLUS Loans, and Federal Work Study funding. Alongside the M.Ed. programs, the campus hosts the annual Deeper Learning Conference, the peer-reviewed Unboxed journal, and the one-year Leading Schools Program certificate for international and domestic educator teams. Credential-track teacher interns layer M.Ed. work with single-subject and multiple-subject fieldwork placements, and public-school partners for those placements include Explorer Elementary School alongside other nearby SDUSD and charter sites. The most intensive engagement is the combined M.Ed. plus California Commission on Teacher Credentialing clinical-residency track, layering coursework, supervised teaching, a required thesis portfolio, and licensure-ready capstone work across an intensive two-year cohort.
