La Galleria

Gifts & Souvenirs

About

Founded in 1982 in Truckee, California, women-owned La Galleria opened its Point Loma location in Liberty Station's Arts District in summer 2021 inside Barracks 16 on Historic Decatur Road. The boutique curates designer jewelry from Uno de 50, Micheal Michaud, and Roman Glass alongside hand-carved serpentine sculptures, amethyst geodes, and Onyx Luminaries — a gemstone-forward inventory that complements the custom engagement and estate work at Point Loma Fine Jewelers across the district. Hammitt leather handbags, hand-dyed silk scarves, and artisan pottery sourced from Indonesia to Mexico fill the non-jewelry side of the floor plan. The global sourcing model rotates stock continuously, placing one-of-a-kind finds next to the fiber and textile collections exhibited at Visions Museum of Textile Art in the same Liberty Station campus. Large-scale interior design commissions — selecting luxury teak consoles, metal water sculptures, and accent lighting for residential staging — are the boutique's most involved projects.
