Scout Staging

Architecture & Design

About

Housed inside Officer's Quarters D at Liberty Station in Point Loma since 2012, Scout Staging operates a 4,000-square-foot retail gallery and one-acre garden on the grounds of the former Naval Training Center. The studio combines interior design, home staging, and a curated mercantile of fixtures, furnishings, lighting, and artwork — a layered old-meets-new approach that interior designers at Bilancia Interiors also apply to Point Loma residential projects. Scout's Gardenist service provides event florals and subscription plant arrangements drawn from the on-site garden's collection of iceberg roses, olive trees, lavender, and Cleveland sage. Staging engagements customize furnishing plans to each property's architecture rather than deploying a standard inventory kit, a listing-preparation methodology that agents at Affinity Hills Realty pair with their Liberty Station-area listings. The studio's highest-value deliverable is the full-property staging-plus-design package, where Scout furnishes every room, installs custom floral arrangements, and styles the one-acre garden for a Liberty Station listing.
