A decorated Navy veteran who served as Commanding Officer of the hospital ship USNS Mercy, Dr. Joseph Moore brings over three decades of medical leadership to his practice at 975 Garnet Ave in Pacific Beach, 92109. Dr. Moore graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 1982 and completed a family medicine residency at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, followed by a sports medicine fellowship. He served as team physician at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and for the USA Women's Olympic Ice Hockey team before the 1998 Nagano Games.
