Originally from Long Island, Dr. Brian Fabb traded East Coast winters for the Pacific Beach boardwalk and now leads Altrock & Fabb Dental at 2187 Garnet Ave, 92109, alongside his wife Dr. Christine Altrock. Dr. Fabb graduated from Syracuse University before earning his DDS from New York University College of Dentistry, where he served as Student Council President and later returned as a faculty member to teach. He practiced at a Camp Pendleton office serving military families before settling in Pacific Beach, and both doctors sit on the Board of Directors of the San Diego County Dental Society and co-chair its Recruitment and Retention committee. The practice sits at the corner of Garnet and Olney, close to the craft beer scene at SD TapRoom further down the avenue. Dr. Altrock brings a UCLA undergraduate degree in Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics, a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Washington, and a USC dental residency to the team. Together they invested in CEREC 3D same-day restoration technology and installed Netflix-capable TVs on treatment room ceilings—a detail patients frequently highlight in reviews alongside the reggae music always playing in the background.
