Women-owned and registered as an LGBTQ+ safespace and transgender-inclusive business, OB eBikes runs the sales and rental-delivery program out of the 1926 Bacon Street showroom it shares with its merger partner under the EBike Super Shop umbrella. Cargo and family-focused builds are the shop's specialty — step-through cruisers, mid-tail cargo frames, and rear-rack child seats — with test rides available alongside beach-gear rentals at Spear Shack around the corner. Fat-tire beach cruisers on 20x3" and 20x4" treads handle the sand transition at Dog Beach and the Sunset Cliffs bluff paths where skinny-tire road ebikes bottom out. Multi-day rental packages include local delivery and pickup within OB, a model aligned with the multi-day beach equipment rental operation at Ocean Rentals San Diego on the same corridor. Electric moto and eMoto-style dirt bikes are carried alongside standard pedal-assist models, with service support for both and a free ebike safety check for walk-ins. The largest project run through the shop is a ground-up custom cargo build — frame selection, dual-battery wiring, integrated lighting, waterproof panniers, child-seat or passenger-kit integration, and a heavy-duty kickstand rated for 440-to-450-pound loaded capacity — for families replacing a second car with one electric workhorse.
