Bottlecraft North Park at 3007 University Ave is one of several outposts in a craft beer retail chain that launched its first San Diego shop in 2011 and opened this North Park tasting room in February 2013. The shop shares its floor plan with an in-house Venissimo Cheese counter, and ramen from Underbelly North Park around the corner on Upas St pairs well with the rotating draft selection. Dessert from Gelati & Peccati on University Ave caps a tasting session with gelato crafted from Italian recipes. The retail side stocks hundreds of bottles from small-batch domestic and international producers, with seasonal collaborative releases brewed exclusively for Bottlecraft in partnership with local breweries.
