North Park's longest-running bar and grill on the 30th Street corridor, Redwing Bar & Grill has occupied 4012 30th St since at least 1962. The venue shares North Park's nightlife strip with 619 Spirits North Park on Lincoln Ave, giving late-night patrons multiple options within walking distance. Fifteen wall-mounted screens broadcast simultaneous sports feeds, and a full kitchen turns out specialty burgers, one- and two-pound wing platters in Thai chili and garlic-ginger-teriyaki sauces, and fried clam baskets. Karaoke runs six nights a week with a rotating catalog, and pre-show or post-show crowds from Queen Bee's Art and Cultural Center on Ohio St fill the patio before and after performances. The bar hosts large-format private karaoke buyouts and themed event nights — including trivia tournaments and drag-hosted sets — that book the full indoor floor and rear patio.
