FUNbelievable in Lakeside occupies 6,000 square feet of climate-controlled play space inside the River Run East Business Park on Riverside Drive, built around a 30-foot-tall, three-level UK-imported soft-play structure. The facility's holiday camps, field-trip packages, and fundraiser hosting serve the same family demographic that books programming at the Lakeside Community Center on Vine Street, both drawing from the Lakeside Union School District attendance zone. Incorporated in May 2011 as FunBelievable Play LLC, the venue earned Red Tricycle's Totally Awesome Award for Southern California's top indoor playground in 2012, 2013, and 2016, plus San Diego Family Magazine's Best Kids' Party Venue designation from 2015 through 2018. A sock-feet-only policy and per-session equipment sanitization support the no-screens, no-coin-operated-machines philosophy that sets the play space apart from arcade-style competitors, a whole-child approach also reflected in the family-first ethos at Yogurt Barn on Channel Road. The main structure features a four-lane wave slide, racing tube, spiral slides, aerial zip glides, a hang-tough rock-climb zone, and an electronic ball shower feeding a dedicated ball pool, with a separate infant-and-toddler area outfitted with soft surfaces, a mini ball pit, and scaled-down slides.
