Suite 210 places seven board-certified orthopedic surgeons under the same roof as Scripps Clinic La Jolla (Suite 600) — the XIMED Building's two largest multi-specialty tenants, one independent and one Scripps-affiliated, sharing a campus and a parking structure. In practice since 1978, the group covers shoulder and knee sports medicine (Dr. Hackley, Scripps Memorial Trauma Team), hand and microsurgery (Dr. Brown, among the first U.S. physicians to use Xiaflex for Dupuytren's Disease), spine and joint replacement (Dr. Thunder, Stanford-trained), and general orthopedic trauma. In-office extremity MRI plus on-site physical and occupational therapy. Second location in Del Mar. Open Monday through Friday 8:30 am–4:30 pm. Post-surgical rehabilitation patients whose recovery extends beyond outpatient PT sometimes step down to La Jolla Post Acute at 2552 Torrey Pines Rd, a 161-bed skilled nursing facility with dedicated orthopedic rehab programming.
