Moores holds the only NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center designation in the San Diego region, and the pharmacy focuses exclusively on complex medications for oncology, transplant, autoimmune, and rare-disease patients — staffed by accredited specialty pharmacists who coordinate directly with UCSD Health prescribers across the campus, including teams at Jacobs Medical Center on Campus Point Drive. Services include medication therapy management, 24-hour after-hours clinical support via a dedicated toll-free line, and home delivery of maintenance prescriptions. Open Monday through Friday 8:30 am–6 pm. For specialty medications from private-practice providers outside the UC system, Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy at 4130 La Jolla Village Dr handles complex prescriptions independently.
