Windansea Park provides grassy lawn, benches, and stairway access to one of La Jolla's most iconic surf breaks — a reef break known for powerful shore break and featured in Tom Wolfe's 1968 essay "The Pump House Gang." The palm-thatched surf shack on the beach is a La Jolla landmark. Best for experienced surfers, photographers, and sunset watching.
