Founded in 1992, KMSD is San Diego's oldest continuously operating Krav Maga program — teaching exclusively Krav Maga for over three decades, and the JCC campus setting places it alongside the Gotthelf Art Gallery and other community programs that make this address one of La Jolla's most active civic hubs. Training runs in five 8-week sessions per year with pay-as-you-go pricing and up to five classes per week at multiple skill levels (Level 1 through Level 3). KMSD reports the highest percentage of military and law enforcement personnel of any local Krav Maga program, along with the highest percentage of female students. Members have access to the JCC's gym, pool, and locker rooms before and after class.
