Resort spa at 1132 Prospect St inside the landmark La Valencia Hotel — known as 'The Pink Lady' — in La Jolla Village, CA 92037. The Spa at La Valencia opened in 2025 as the first major addition to the 1926-era property in over a decade, occupying a converted turn-of-the-century private residence at 1135 Coast Blvd adjacent to the main hotel. The Village setting makes it the only resort spa inside La Jolla's walkable core — a contrast to The Spa at Torrey Pines, which requires a drive to the north end of the 92037. The spa has six treatment rooms, two locker rooms with showers, a relaxation lounge, and an outdoor deck with ocean views toward La Jolla Cove. Led by spa director Lisa Price, formerly of Estancia La Jolla and Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, treatments include customized facials, massages, body treatments, breathwork, sound healing, reiki, and tai chi. Design features include white oak floors, marine-inspired palettes, natural stone accents, and art by La Jolla-based artist Krista Schumacher. Hotel guests can charge to their room. Appointments by phone — and guests staying at The Lodge at Torrey Pines access a 9,500-square-foot spa with 14 treatment rooms on-site.
