About

La Jolla's oldest restaurant and a neighborhood institution since 1960, located at 7545 Girard Ave on the main Village corridor, 92037. Harry's Coffee Shop was founded by Harry Rudolph, a Brooklyn Dodgers devotee who followed the team west and opened this Brooklyn-style diner in La Jolla when the neighborhood had only 5,000 residents. The family-owned spot is best known for its BW Benny — a bacon waffle eggs benedict featured on the Food Network — alongside pancakes, omelets, milkshakes, Bloody Marys, and classic diner plates. Breakfast is served all day, every day.
