Founded by a Rollins College psychology and business graduate who rebuilt his own health through mentorship-driven coaching, KR FitLife operates from a Fourth Avenue Hillcrest base and runs mobile sessions in clients' homes, Balboa Park, and outdoor locations across 92103. Every intake screens prior injuries and ongoing chiropractic care, and clients actively adjusting with Integrated Self or similar Hillcrest practitioners receive programming shaped around their current restriction list rather than a generic beginner template. The approach starts with a psychology-grounded food-history and body-image intake before any exercise is prescribed, drawing on the owner's own weight-loss backstory. Sessions use smartphone-app form videos so clients can rehearse movements between visits rather than losing pattern memory. Lower-impact clients sometimes layer reformer cross-training at Club Pilates to supplement at-home strength work without adding joint load.
