Building-system design on renovation and tenant-improvement projects runs parallel to the architectural set produced by Architects Magnus, with MEP layouts, riser diagrams, and Title 24 energy compliance drawings developed against those floor plans. Healthcare, life-science, federal, education, hospitality, and commercial sectors make up the documented client mix, with California Title 24 Part 6 energy code and OSHPD hospital facility requirements shaping the calculation sets. Hospital MEP retrofits require phased shutdowns, infection-control risk assessments, and backup-power coordination across multiple trades, all submitted through the OSHPD review process that governs every clinical-floor project at Hillcrest Medical Center at UC San Diego Health and other acute-care facilities in the county.
