Encinitas School of Music is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization established in 2002 with EIN 33-0921083, headquartered on Orpheus Avenue near the Encinitas Dog Park. Five private studios and a full-size rehearsal and recording space house instruction across more than 20 instruments, a community-arts model rooted in the same neighborhood wellness ethos that draws students to Soul of Yoga on South Coast Highway 101. The instrument roster spans voice, piano, electric keyboard, drums, acoustic and electric guitar, bass, ukulele, banjo, violin, viola, cello, alto and tenor and baritone saxophone, clarinet, flute, trumpet, cornet, trombone, and music theory. Individualized lesson plans accommodate students from age five through eighty-five, with each studio equipped to integrate modern digital-audio technology alongside traditional one-on-one instruction. Free public performances at community events and city-sponsored gatherings anchor the school's nonprofit mission, a civic-engagement role it shares with Pacific View Arts Center on West F Street. The on-site recording facility supports multi-track session work for student recital production, ensemble arrangement capture, and portfolio demo recordings requiring studio-grade microphone arrays and mixing-console signal routing.
