About

Sheraton San Diego Resort in downtown San Diego's Harbor Island district completed a $100 million renovation in fall 2024, overhauling both its Marina Tower and Bay Tower guest rooms with a coastal-contemporary design scheme across more than 1,000 rooms on San Diego Bay. The property shares the Harbor Island hospitality corridor with Hilton San Diego Airport/Harbor Island, though the Sheraton's post-renovation footprint now spans six dining concepts — including Baja-inflected Rumorosa and the San Diego-brewed Brewery X taproom — plus three pools and a full-service spa. Over 130,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space spreads across both towers, with waterfront terraces that stage receptions against a backdrop of the downtown skyline and Coronado Bridge. Every room includes a private balcony with seating, and upper-floor Marina Tower suites deliver direct sightlines to the yacht basin and the bay's cruise-ship channel — a vantage point shared only by the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego across the harbor. The resort's most complex event packages combine multi-day conference programming across the 130,000-square-foot venue footprint with coordinated marina activities, solar-boat dining excursions, and poolside cabana buyouts for groups exceeding 500 attendees.
