As a veteran-owned, Latino-owned, and LGBTQ+-owned collective, Comman Goods occupies a 4,000-square-foot East Village warehouse in downtown San Diego at 403 13th Street. The space curates imported pottery, textiles, furniture, and planters from global artisan sources alongside rotating resident vendors, sharing the East Village's reclaimed-materials aesthetic with Architectural Salvage San Diego nearby. Comman Goods launched in 2024 as an extension of Apostrophe Home—which opened at Seaport Village in November 2023—and the 13th Street location adds a rentable event venue to the retail model. The warehouse hosts weddings, dinner parties, and photo shoots, with globally sourced decor serving as built-in event staging that coordinates with floral design from Bloom Avenue in the same neighborhood. The multi-vendor layout rotates inventory seasonally, featuring hand-thrown ceramics, loomed textiles, and reclaimed-wood furnishings sourced from artisan cooperatives across Latin America, Southeast Asia, and North Africa.
