India Street Antiques

Thrift & Vintage

About

As the first retail business in North Little Italy when it opened in October 1991, India Street Antiques imports and restores European furniture dating from the 1840s through the 1940s at 2361 India Street in downtown San Diego. The LGBTQ+-owned showroom supplies pieces for residential projects, vacation rentals, and film and television staging, with floral styling for set dressing coordinated through providers like Allen's Flowers & Plants. An onsite workshop performs restoration, refinishing, and custom modification of wood furniture, handling species including mahogany, Santos rosewood, cherry, walnut, teak, and Afrormosia. The inventory rotates through styles spanning Danish Modern, Spanish Revival, High Victorian, Mission, Arts and Crafts, Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and Chippendale — a range of period expertise that serves the same collector base as David Levi & Sons Jewelers in the downtown jewelry district. White-glove delivery with padded crating extends to San Diego County, Orange County, Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Palm Springs for high-value consignments including late-Victorian carved armoires and parcel-gilt Art Nouveau panel doors.
