3 Punk Ales: Little Italy in downtown San Diego launched its India Street tasting room in 2023 as a satellite of the Hispanic-owned brewery's original 2017 Chula Vista taproom. Eighteen taps pour a rotating lineup that includes Don Fanucci, an Italian-style pilsner brewed exclusively for this location — a site-specific release concept also practiced at Burgeon at The Arbor - Little Italy with its own Kettner Boulevard exclusives. The taproom occupies the former Mikkeller space on India Street, refitted with wall-to-wall punk-rock concert poster murals that reflect the brewery's dual identity around Latin culture and vintage punk music. Beyond its own taps, the brewery's band-collaboration series partners with touring punk acts for co-branded releases, a music-driven production model distinct from the cocktail-focused craft at Craft & Commerce on the same India Street corridor. Limited-run collaboration brews pair custom recipes with original label artwork from partnering bands, combining one-off fermentation profiles with release-event programming at the India Street taproom.
