Opened after a $17 million buildout, this 9,500-square-foot concert hall is set inside a two-story Spanish Mission-style building that blends historic coastal architecture with modern production infrastructure. The ground floor spans 7,500 square feet with an additional 2,000 square feet on the upper level, and a state-of-the-art VUE Audiotechnik sound system delivers studio-quality clarity throughout the 1,900-capacity room. Despite that size, the layout creates a surprisingly intimate feel, with no bad sightlines from any vantage point. The concert calendar regularly features national touring acts across genres, with recent and upcoming performers including St. Paul and the Broken Bones, FKA twigs, Grateful Shred, Modest Mouse, and The Breeders. Visitors coming from out of town can check in at Hotel Indigo San Diego del Mar by IHG just off the freeway for easy access to the venue.
