Southern California Liver Centers brings subspecialty hepatology to Coronado Island at 131 Orange Avenue, Suite 101B, through board-certified internist and consultant hepatologist Deanna Oliver, MD, MBA. Oliver earned her MD from AUC School of Medicine and her MBA from Webster University, completed internal medicine residency at UC Fresno where she rose to Chief Resident and Assistant Program Director, and now serves as Chief of Inpatient Hepatology Services and Associate Director of Research at Southern California Research Center within the same Southern California GI & Liver Centers network that anchors the island's gastroenterology corridor. Her clinical focus covers end-stage liver disease management, hepatitis treatment, fatty liver disease intervention, and the palliative care program she directs for SCLC patients across multiple Sharp-affiliated hospitals. Prior to joining SCLC, Oliver helped build the first Hospital-at-Home Program in California at the Adventist Hospital system during the COVID-19 pandemic, a telehealth infrastructure model now integrated into her Coronado practice for remote monitoring of chronic liver patients at Sharp Coronado Hospital. The 92118 practice coordinates FibroScan transient elastography, hepatic function panels, and pre- and post-transplant evaluations across SCLC's seven Southern California locations from Coronado to El Centro.
