Opened by co-founders Diego González and Karim Reza, La Corriente Coronado at 1100 Orange Ave in Coronado, CA 92118, is the second U.S. location of the Baja California seafood brand that originated in Tijuana and expanded to six Mexican cities before debuting in La Jolla in 2024. Known for Pacific Coast mariscos and an extensive raw bar, the menu features the Red Snapper Tostada with aioli and avocado, La Corriente Ceviche with shrimp, octopus, and tuna in citrus dressing, Soft Shell Crab Tacos, and the Sayulita Butterfly Fish with red rice and frijoles charros. The kitchen offers 20 house-made salsa varieties and a cocktail program built around Cucumber Mezcalitas and Serrano Margaritas.
