The Henry on Coronado's Orange Avenue is a Fox Restaurant Concepts all-day restaurant that debuted in August 2019 at 1031 Orange Ave, four blocks north of Hotel Del Coronado. The 5,176-square-foot dining room blends Gatsby-era industrial design with coastal California aesthetics — exhibition kitchen, leather booths, and a 1,445-square-foot fireplace patio facing the same Orange Avenue dining corridor as Il Fornaio and the Ferry Landing restaurants. Fox Restaurant Concepts, the Arizona-based hospitality group behind True Food Kitchen and North Italia, launched the Coronado outpost as its fourth Henry location after Phoenix, West Hollywood, and Dallas, moving into the former Costa Azul space that anchored the block for two decades. The menu spans a full sushi counter, weekend brunch, and a dinner program covering Korean prime skirt steak, rotisserie chicken, handmade ricotta cavatelli, and house-made pretzels with provolone fondue. The in-house XV Coffee program runs a proprietary espresso line and seasonal pastry menu each morning, a branded coffee counter that draws the island's early crowd alongside specialty roasters such as Trident Coffee Coronado on the same avenue. The Crown Room private dining space seats 36 for plated events, and the full venue holds 150 seated or 250 reception-style — one of the largest single-floor restaurant event capacities on Coronado Island.
