About

For heated Vinyasa and sculpt-style yoga in Chula Vista's Third Avenue Village, Yoga Box brings the Pacific Beach–founded Yoga Box Method to a studio at 269 Third Avenue on the neighborhood's walkable dining corridor. The music-driven format pairs flow sequences and weighted resistance work in a heated, sound-system-equipped room, a sensory contrast to the passive-recovery modalities at Balensi Spa. Four class categories rotate through the schedule: Hot Yoga, Power Vinyasa, Yoga Sculpt with hand weights, and Recovery Restore for guided stretching and breathwork. As the brand's first South Bay studio, the Third Avenue location expands a network spanning multiple San Diego neighborhoods and cities including Denver, Chicago, Phoenix, and Brooklyn. The Yoga Sculpt format adds 2- to 5-pound hand weights to a heated Vinyasa sequence, bridging the gap between traditional flexibility work and the load-bearing strength protocols at San Diego Strength and Wellness. Each Yoga Sculpt session runs 60 minutes at elevated room temperature, cycling through 45–60 weighted repetitions per muscle group across posterior-chain, shoulder-girdle, and core sequences.
